Who we are
JELETO ("we", "us") operates the game JELETO City. JELETO is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy at support@jeleto.lovable.app.
What we collect and why
- Account data — email address, password credentials (stored hashed), and Google account identifier if you sign in with Google. Used to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Profile data — display name, avatar photo, and any optional real business name or revenue range you choose to enter for the in-game synergy bonus. Used to personalise your account and game. Legal basis: contract and your consent for optional fields.
- Game data — your city save, level, in-game currency, audits and progress. Used to provide the Service across devices. Legal basis: contract.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and error logs. Used for security, fraud prevention and fixing bugs. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Support messages — what you send us by email. Used to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Subscription status — whether your trial or subscription is active, and the identifiers our payment provider returns. Used to grant access. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
Who we share data with
- Merchant of Record — Paddle.com handles the sale of subscriptions, payments, subscription management, invoicing and tax compliance. Paddle collects payment details directly; we never receive your full card number.
- Service providers — our hosting, database, authentication and storage providers, which process data on our instructions.
- News sources — the game fetches public news headlines server-side; no personal data is sent to those sources.
- Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where necessary.
- Authorities — where we are required to disclose by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
We keep account, profile and game data for as long as your account is active, and delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period after you close your account. Records we must keep for tax or legal reasons are retained for the required period.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email support@jeleto.lovable.app and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you can also complain to your local supervisory authority.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, row-level access controls on our database and restricted administrative access.
Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to hold your game state. Our checkout provider sets cookies needed to process a payment. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block storage in your browser settings, but the game may not work correctly without it.
